Generate your own electricity
In many countries, electric power is expensive and some times not reliable. By generating your own electricity, you not only save thousands of dollars in electricity bill payments, you can have uninterrupted electric power and not be dependent on grid supply.

However, most people are unable to use solar power due to the high initial cost of buying the necessary solar panels. However, it is now possible to make your own solar panel at home for less than $200.

Some of the guides for making solar panels and wind turbines at home are:

Earth4Energy - Find out how you can build your own 60-120 W solar panels at home for less than $200, if you use broken solar cells, it can be done for as little as $27. These solar panels provide sufficient power for home appliances in most homes. No prior experience of any kind is needed. Includes a free bonus on how to build a wind turbine at home for less than $140 using easily available material. For more details, Click Here!

SolarDIY - Retail solar panels cost more than $1000 and the set up cost of using solar energy for a home can be more $20,000. However, it is now possible to build a 60 or 120 W solar panel at home for less than $200 using the Green Energy Do it Yourself (DIY) Guide. Connecting broken solar cells together to build a solar panel may take more time, but reduces the cost even lower to less than $40. To find out how you can build your own solar panel, Click Here!

Home Made Energy - Tired of paying ever increasing electricity bills? Find out how you can generate your own electricity at home using renewable energy sources like wind power and solar energy for less than $200. Unlike the wind and solar systems which can be purchased online for between $1500 - $10000 (installation costs extra), you can recover the cost of your home made renewable energy system within a month or two. Since you have assembled the energy system yourself, troubleshooting and fixing any problem in future will also be simple. Independent Contractors Can Make More Money
It isn't how much money you make, it is how much money you keep. A lot of money and information gets collected from employees and employers and goes to the government in form of payroll taxes, income taxes, etc. Independent contractors can save money for businesses and for workers because the amount of money that goes to taxes can be significantly reduced. Check out how beneficial this simple strategy can be.
Money is one of the biggest ways that we lose privacy. We must report our income and where it comes from for tax purposes. Our banking records are monitored and our identities vigorously identified. Employees and employers must reveal vast amounts of information to state and federal labor regulators and tax collectors.
Rechargeable battery can be painted onto almost any surface
Researchers at Rice University in Houston, Texas, have developed a paintable battery that consists of layers of conductive paint and can be charged using solar energy.
Remember our article about On/Off paint, a conductive wall paint that acts as a switch upon touch. Now researchers at Rice University in Houston, Texas, have gone one step further, developing a paintable battery that can be sprayed onto almost any surface and recharged using sunlight.
The research team hopes to develop and improve the battery and prepare it for use in industry, which it claims would be straight-forward considering the existing use of spray-painting in mass production. Could this be the end of bulky portable power?

Controlling Spending - If you want to reign in your spending, the easiest way to do it is to think of items you want to buy in terms of time. Time is money...and money is time! Look at the price of the item. Then calculate how many hours of work it would take for you to buy it. Let's say you (or your spouse) have a job that pays $15 an hour. You are considering buying a picture for your home that costs $90. Is that picture worth working 6 hours to buy it? and that is not even calculating the net amount of money you receive. This little touch of reality is a really good way to avoid frivolous buying.

The Nanny State Updates…

Big Brother Gets Even More Paranoid over its Citizens
A newly released Department of Homeland Security study entitled Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States 1970-2008 characterizes Americans espousing traditionally patriotic values as potential terrorists.
An FBI press conference in February 2012 warned the public of anti-government "extremists" who believe that "the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard." The press conference went on to vilify these "extremists" who believe in sound monetary policy, and even describing how these citizens pose a serious threat to the IRS, all the while neglecting to cite a single credible threat.
Similarly a Department of Justice manual entitled Investigating Terrorism and Criminal Extremism lists those who attend "preparedness expos," possess "Constitutional money" (that is, gold or silver), and "Constitutionalists" directly alongside Al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah members as potential terror threats.
The federal government is systematically putting into place all of the requirements for a true police state, right under our very noses.
A police state where nationalistic orientation is cause for suspicion. A police state where being "suspicious of centralized federal authority" is the sign of potential terrorist activity. And worst of all a police state where "reverence for individual liberty" is not tolerated.

Big Brother is becoming all-pervasive, and thousands of new technologies are currently being developed that will make it even easier to spy on you…even your refrigerator will spy on you!
Capturing Fingerprints From 20 Feet Away
Can you imagine someone reading your fingerprints from 20 feet away without you ever knowing it?
This kind of technology is actually already here according to POPSCI....
Gaining access to your gym or office building could soon be as simple as waving a hand at the front door. A Hunsville, Ala.-based company called IDair is developing a system that can scan and identify a fingerprint from nearly 20 feet away. Coupled with other biometrics, it could soon allow security systems to grant or deny access from a distance, without requiring users to stop and scan a fingerprint, swipe an ID card, or otherwise lose a moment dealing with technology.

The Parting Thought –

The jobs drought is the result of counterproductive policies, many of which could be reversed immediately. But in the meantime, employers aren't hiring because they are suffering from prolonged uncertainty, as economists readily admit.

"When we get an increase in general uncertainty, employers tend to postpone investment and hiring decisions," Michael Gapen, senior U.S. economist with Barclays, told
CNNMoney.

That uncertainty, which is now made worse by the impending implementation of Obamacare, the economic meltdown in Europe, and slower growth in Asia, stems primarily from America's date with Taxmageddon on January 1, 2013. The largest tax increase in U.S. history—$494 billion in one year—will hit on that day, as a host of tax cuts expire and new tax hikes (including some of Obamacare's new taxes) take effect.

Taxmageddon falls primarily on middle- and low-income Americans. Heritage research shows that families will see an average tax increase of $4,138. Visit the new Taxmageddon page to see the impact of these tax hikes on individuals. It includes an interactive mapwhere you can click on your state to see what the average tax increase will be.

A few weeks back we posted an interactive map that shows what each tax return filer will see as a tax hike when averaged out. The map is broken down by state and provides a profound glimpse in to what is ahead of us.

Please take a moment to see what's ahead.
Click here to view the map and find out what your state will face in 2013 on our current path.

Today there is a
follow-up post showing how the Obama taxes will completely pummel even the lowest income congressional districts in the nation. The poorest district still carries an average tax hike of $1,236 per filer, which is a brutal increase and destroys Obama's promise that taxes would not go up once he passed his tax hiking healthcare law.

The ‘System’ is Stacked Against US Workers
Our politicians have loaded the system with plenty of incentives NOT to hire workers
Today, you aren't just competing for jobs with your neighbors. Your competition also includes millions upon millions of hard working people on the other side of the globe that will gladly work 12 hour shifts in nightmarish conditions for a dollar an hour.
The United States has been losing millions of jobs to lower wage countries, and the fierce competition for the jobs that remain is driving down wages in this country.
