The end of the
Euro…then the US dollar?
Dr. Philippa Malmgren
is the President and founder of Principalis Asset Management. She is also a
former member of the Bush economic team. You can find her bio right here.
Malmgren is claiming
that Germany is seriously considering bringing back the Deutschmark. In fact,
she claims that Germany is very busy printing new currency up. In a list of things that we could see happen over the next few months, she included the
following....
"The Germans announce they are re-introducing the
Deutschmark. They have already ordered the new currency and asked that the
printers hurry up."
Ann Barnhardt, head of Barnhardt Capital Management, Inc.: "It's over. There is
no coming back from this. The only thing that can happen is a total and
complete collapse of EVERYTHING we now know, and humanity starts from scratch.
And if you think that this collapse is going to play out without one hell of a
big hot war, you are sadly, sadly mistaken."
We have something that
is so rare, that few people in this country possess it…something which would
aid us in surviving the recession and oppression.
That
possession is a back-to-basics knowledge,
and your success at this lifestyle will determine whether you prosper or not in an economically depressed future.

Those who take the
time to read and act on the suggestions and resources offered in this bulletin
and on our website have the advantage over those whose heads are still stuck in
the sand.
Buy a grain mill and then go online and order a sufficient
amount of wheat and other
grains to last you a year.
Better yet, find a local coop that sells organic grains in bulk and save on
shipping costs. Store that grain in the closet you just emptied of all those
extra clothing you never wear anyway.

Protect Your
Cell Phone from Hackers
All a hacker needs to
listen in on your private voicemails are your cell number and a special phone
card like those available from SpoofCard.com, which allows them to use your
number as their caller ID. Simply
dialing your phone then tricks your phone’s program into thinking you’re
calling from your own cell phone and giving him or her instant access to your
messages.
Thwart the process by
setting up a password or PIN that must be keyed in before accessing
messages. Your carrier’s website should
provide instructions on how to do this.

The Nanny
State Updates…
A 55-year-old man in
Arizona was recently ordered to turn in all his guns because of things that he wrote on his blog.
Fortunately, after WorldNetDaily covered the story there was an outpouring of outrage and the order was
overturned, but what would have happened if WorldNetDaily had not covered the
story?
The TSA is
bringing their brand of "security" to many other locations throughout America as well….
TSA "VIPR
teams" now conduct approximately 8,000 "unannounced security
screenings" a year at
subway stations, bus terminals, ports and highway rest stops.
Scratch and Win: What lottery ticket sales
reveal about the American welfare system
In California, in Arizona, all across the U.S., in fact, people are feeling extremely lucky and optimistic. And more desperate than ever. In other words, it's business as usual for humanity, and good times for America's lotteries. Forty three states, along with Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia, conduct lotteries now, and according to the Chicago Sun-Times, 17 out of the 41 lotteries that ended their fiscal year on June 30 established sales records in 2010. Greg Beato explains why these blockbuster lottery sales may be a sign that the nation's various social welfare programs are more robust than they're often acknowledged to be.

Tools. If you can’t depend on construction companies, you’ll need to build
and/or repair things yourself, and that means tools. You should have at least a
basic toolbox with a hammer, ax, nails, log jack, wood saw, and most
importantly, a dependable knife.
Tip: Another essential emergency tool you should consider is a treadle
(pedal) sewing machine. Not only is it useful for your own needs – it could
even provide a source of barter/income in a pinch.
The Parting Thought – Why we need to revamp our tax
system
Why are
politicians afraid of a tax system that would help the US competitive
advantage, while simplifying the system, making it more fair, and would add
more money to our nation’s coffers?
The United States should move quickly to reform its
tax system. In a competitive global economy, jobs and capital flow to
jurisdictions with better tax law. Traditionally, this process of "tax
competition" has benefited the United States, but there is growing
evidence that America is falling behind.
There is widespread
consensus that the current tax system is a complicated failure that hinders the
nation's growth while allowing the politically well-connected to manipulate the
system to get special breaks that are not available to average workers and
businesses
There has been several
flat tax proposals over the years, all of them based on the pathbreaking
proposal developed by two Hoover Institution economists.
Our tax system favors
the well off and is grotesquely complex.
In essence, we have two systems…one for corporations and one for
individuals. The rich are able to avoid
taxes by playing the two systems against each other. Nothing less than a complete overhaul will
repair the damage it is doing to our country.
While no two plans are
identical, they all share common features that fix the major flaws of the
current Internal Revenue Code. Simplicity and fairness are also natural
consequences of these component features of tax reform.
The confusion of our
tax system is legendary and even the experts get it wrong most of the
time…including the IRS itself. The IRS
provides incorrect answers to tax questions on average of 25 percent of the
time - and the taxpayer is still liable, regardless!
When all the various
hidden taxes and government fees are taken into account, we pay roughly 50% of
our income in taxes to the various levels of government.
The flat tax system
would help eliminate the graft inherent among politicians; dealing a
devastating blow to its political culture and the special interests which
routinely buy political favor. It would
also put more money into the public coffers and better cater to the well being
of America.
The resistance to a
simple, fair system puzzles me. Might it
have something to do the Fed, the power that global banking interests have or
some other dark purpose? It’s my opinion
that our current system has put us one “The Road to Serfdom” as eloquently
written by Friedrich Hayek. But I
wouldn’t count on our political system to fix this anytime soon.
