Stopping Socialism, Thoughts on Civil Disobedience

Here's the best way to stop socialism and communism...

So, there's a TV show called The Man in the High Castle.

It’s on Amazon Prime and it first came out in 2015.

(It’s based on a novel by Philip K. Dick.)

Let’s just say that watching this show will absolutely make you grateful for the freedom you and I have.

In the show, the United States did not win World War II and it’s no longer the United States of America.

Instead, the west is occupied by the Japanese and is called the Japanese Pacific States.

The east is occupied and controlled by Nazi Germany.

Both the Japanese and Nazis do terrible things to the (former) American people.

Yet, as always, there are a group of true patriots who refuse to be oppressed and they fight back.

And, even though they’re outnumbered and outgunned, they figure out the best way to stop the tyrants oppressing them.

Now, the show is obviously made for entertainment and has a lot of “Hollywood” excitement in it.

However, it does give people hope of how to stop a tyrannical government.

Right now, I want to tell you the real way and give you the full truth on how to do this.

I want to share with you something I don’t talk about often.

Many will think this is controversial, but I don’t mind.

Like anything in life, you can use what I’m about to share with you for good or evil. (please use it for good)

With the election coming, you need to know this, it is the best way to stop socialists and people from destroying our government.

SIDEBAR:

The Great American Reset Has Begun...Civil Disobedience

If you think about it, there’s nothing about destruction that’s especially disobedient in today’s world.

Destruction is the status quo.

[I read a fascinating interview with Martin Gurri, the former CIA analyst who first noticed the seismic impact of social media on world politics. The author of The Revolt of the Public and the Crisis of Authority in the New Millennium, Gurri studies the fracturing of discourse and the frantic attempts of elites to reassert control over public life. "We are in the first stages of a gigantic transformation from the industrial mode of information and communication to something that doesn't even have a name yet," Gurri said. "It's an extinction event for the narratives. The ideal of representative democracy is in trouble, for example, and the institutions around that ideal will have to be reformed if they wish to retain any sort of legitimacy."]

Over the past century-and-some-change, we’ve seen more wanton global destruction -- of lives, of wealth, and of traditions from all walks of life -- than at any other time in history.

We live in an age where, as Michael Ellner put it, “Everything is backwards, everything is upside down.”

Doctors destroy health. Lawyers destroy justice. Psychiatrists destroy minds. Scientists destroy truth. Historians destroy history. Major media destroys information. Governments destroy freedom.

Destruction is far from the counterculture.

The most mainstream thing you can do these days is destroy yours or someone else’s life… or just lay down and allow it to happen to others.

The most disobedient thing you can do, on the other hand, is build others up, ignore the outrage and fear porn mills, take care of your health and your family, love your enemies, live within your means, stay out of debt, cultivate monk-like patience, draw clear boundaries, and more.

True civil disobedience in the 21st century is:

1] Drawing the line.

When is “enough enough”?

In the midst of vast government overreach, if you don’t have a line, you can be made to do anything.

[Example: Easy one... I’m not getting the vaccine, whoever makes it, doesn’t matter. The onus isn’t on me to convince anyone why I shouldn’t be forced to get it. It’s just simply not happening.]

When enough people have these hard lines in the sand -- and it doesn’t take many people -- it becomes incredibly difficult for the midnight tyrants to push through.

2] To stop pretending this is OK… but don’t lose your compassion in the process. (“Tough dove” approach)

“Pause,” physician Kulvinder Kaur, MD, writes, “if only for one minute, today and every day. Simply reflect on the harm these catastrophic and unscientific lockdowns are afflicting on our future both in the developed & developing worlds: 2 billion innocent children. It doesn't have to be this way.”

We’ve been emotionally manipulated from the beginning of the pandemic to believe that if we acquiesce to the next demand, it will all be over soon enough.

But as time wore on, the demands increased, and it became increasingly obvious, given the data, the juice was no longer worth the squeeze.

Filmmaker Arthur Moore made a great video about the “new normal,” wherein he said:

"We can't continue pretending that it's possible for us to live like this. We can't continue pretending that we can live without each other. We need to keep our elderly safe but we don't have to give up our basic human needs. Be the reason someone feels seen, heard and supported."

In the video, he compares Israel, one of the most locked down countries, and Sweden… which didn’t shut down even an inch. He also reveals the most devastating part of the lockdowns (it has nothing to do with the virus).

While we’re on the subject, consider what’s happening right now on the ground in Sweden:

People are living normally. Kids are back to school.

And the craziest thing… excess mortality rates are, upon writing, on track to be zero… or maybe even lower.

That’s right.

Though Sweden didn’t lock down, the country is now set to end the year with zero… or even negative… excess mortality.

Given what we know now, there’s absolutely no reason to pretend the lockdowns are OK.

And yet, people (many of which still believe the lockdowns are justified) are struggling regardless.

People are suffering enough.

In a world rife with senseless acts of deception and violence…

Civil disobedience means acts of (both) truth and kindness.

As winter grows closer, it's time to start preparing for large winter storms and blizzards. We tend to joke that everyone has to run out and get milk and bread before the snow comes, but anyone who has lived through a massive blizzard understands you need more than milk and bread in your winter storm stockpile.

The winters all over the country are changing. If you follow the Farmer's Almanac, then you know that they're predicting bitterly cold winter conditions in areas east of the Rocky Mountains to the Appalachian Mountains. Are you ready for the freezing, frigid, and snowy winter that is predicted?

People all over the country have found themselves in the hands of Mother Nature with their proverbial pants down. The last time you want to be caught unprepared is in the middle of a blizzard...

Prepare or perish

America is a land of plenty and Americans are used to having plenty — plenty of food, plenty of water, plenty of everything. Most of them can't imagine not being able to go to the store to get food of some sort. A preparedness mindset truly takes vision and planning for the future, especially now.

I hazard to guess that still — despite recent storms, the lockdowns and everything else that has happened in this truly odd year of 2020 — there is a 90 percent chance you could not live for more than a few days, and certainly not more than a couple of weeks, if something worse happened to the food supply chain than has already occurred. If you are one of the 10 percent who has, kudos! You are ahead of the game, but read on because preparedness is something that we must do far in advance of need.

Think now... if we needed more of any particular thing than we thought, it would already be too late.

Inevitably, when I write about preparedness one or two (at least) wags write to me to chime in to ridicule and fulminate against me for being ridiculous and wasteful. "People won't be without food," they say. "We have FEMA and Red Cross for that." They are fools.

If you recall, California's Pacific Gas & Electric began a series of blackouts last year in order to try and prevent fires like the ones that ravaged millions of acres and destroyed more than 22,000 buildings in 2018. The blackouts by PG&E alone left 730,000 customers in the dark, some for days.

The blackout left residents cold, hungry, stressed out, disillusioned and angry. According to the LA Times: "In Lake County, which shares a border with Napa County but lacks its wealth, (the blackout) has meant fear, cold, hunger and often anger — directed at both the utility and state leaders."

What Californians experienced is life when the systems we depend upon go down and we haven't taken personal responsibility for our own well-being. It's life (and often death) for people conditioned to depend upon the government for their sustenance and care.

The Leftists in our country constantly clamor for more government and turn to the government for everything they perceive as going wrong in their lives, including natural occurrences like storms and viruses, because they have fallen for the propaganda directed at them. That way lies disaster of Venezuelan proportions, dear reader. It is up to us to secure our own futures as if the government is not around, because it won't be when we need it most, as we saw during the height of the virus paranoia and looting.

History is our guide in this. The police and government men will not be there for you. As hard as it is to remind ourselves, they are people too and are just as panicky, scared and ill-prepared.

In fact, anyone who depends upon the government for sustenance is a slave. And in a widespread emergency, even if government services still exist in some fashion, the government is at best slow and inefficient. The list of responses to hurricanes, fires, looting, flooding and power outages is long and undistinguished.

We have often urged you to store food. We even set up a website so you can purchase it at a discount. Everyone should have at the barest minimum of three days of food and water on hand. But even better is at least three weeks of food and water and other essentials at your disposal at all times. More is better.

You should have at least one month of cash on hand, as well. When the power is out, plastic does not work. Nor do ATMs. I also recommend gold and silver and extra items for barter.

You should also have a gun or guns and plenty of ammunition and adequate training on how to use them so you can protect your family and what is yours.

You should eat from your stored food by rotating out the older dated food and moving the newer food to the rear. This prevents loss from spoilage. Vacuum-sealed and freeze-dried food has a long shelf life and can be preserved for many years. Food storage is not a waste of money, as some claim. It is insurance. You will have actually profited by buying stored food when prices are lower than they will be in the future.

You must know that even an honest man will steal food if his family is starving. How anyone can see the looting, suffering and chaos in a place like St. Martin after Hurricane Irma swept through the Caribbean in 2017 and not take it as a warning sign to begin protecting himself and his family is beyond my understanding. If the recent looting hasn’t reminded you, then then you have well and truly been inured by the media.

If you have not begun preparing and want to, you should start small and work consistently, writes preparedness expert Larry Barkdull in his book, Emergency Essentials' Tips for Preparedness.

"Too many people make the mistake in thinking emergencies only happen to 'other folks,'" he writes. "Beyond the subject of disaster, being prepared should be a part of your normal provident living. Don't become overwhelmed. Start with small goals and work consistently."

Barkdull gives the following ideas to help you get started on your preparedness plan:

  • Establish a modest preparedness budget. Make it a priority and work at it the best you can. Start with a few items, such as a 72-hour kit, emergency candles, a sleeping bag and a first aid kit or an emergency bag. Then budget enough money monthly to keep adding to your stores of emergency supplies.
  • Get your information from reliable sources. Most sensible programs will coincide with other reputable sources such as books, community preparation and church or government programs. Don't let anyone scare you into thinking that has to be done all at once or that you must incur heavy debt to achieve your goals.
  • That which would be required to sustain life for three days can be easily multiplied for planning long-term storage needs.
  • Be consistent. Within a short time, you will have the necessary supplies and equipment to take care of yourself, family members and others.
  • Think investment, not expense. Think practically when it comes to assembling a food storage program. Buy the basics and learn to use them. Buy foods that you can rotate and eat regularly instead of storing foods that are unknowns to you that you have never eaten. Buy emergency materials that can be used for other activities such as Scouting events, camping adventures and family road trips. Take care of what you purchase and learn not to waste. The point is, do something and do not procrastinate.

Don't wait until crisis hits. Then it's too late.

Yours for the truth,

Bob Livingston

1000 Sqft Original and Adorable Log Cabin

Click here to see more PHOTOS...

http://hyggehous.com/1000-sqft-original-and-adorable-log-cabin-to-check-out-.html

Anyone into the history of cabin building would be very interested in staying in this wood cabin called The Squirrels Nest. This traditionally built log cabin building on James River in Buchanan, Virginia is a picture perfect log cabin retreat. It's just one of the many small log cabins you can find for rent through VRBO, and it might just help you become inspired for building a log cabin of your own to enjoy for vacationing. When you are thinking of building a log cabin of your own, it's a great idea to test out a few different styles and types of log cabins to discern what you prefer most. Small log cabins make the perfect vacation homes and rentals for couples and smaller families.

As you can see with this Squirrels Nest log cabin building, you can fit a lot into just 1,000 square feet of space too. This 1,000 square foot log cabin features three bedrooms and two bathrooms which is a lot for a compact space. The cabin can comfortably sleep 6 people at a time since one bedroom has a double bed, a queen sized bed and two twin beds. You could also put bunk beds in one of the bedrooms of your own log cabin to make even more room for guests. Futons and pull out couches also work well for accommodating extra people too.

This cabin also features a nice kitchen that has all of the items you need to cook delicious meals. There's a large fridge, stove, microwave and even a dishwasher. So you can make the most of your vacation and eat healthy the entire time. Some rustic log cabins will only use smaller propane stoves and convection ovens while some only use an open fire to cook outside. You can tailor your cabin experience to suit your comfort levels and needs. You can make it as rustic or as luxurious as you want it and it all boils down to personal preference. Some luxurious cabins have full gourmet style kitchens and barbeques to cook on while others just have the basics. This cabin also has a large TV in the living room to enjoy during downtime, but if you wanted your cabin to be a bit more bare bones, you can leave out the television and enjoy connecting with nature the entire time. The Squirrels Nest also has full electric and running water, but you could create an off-grid cabin with solar power and a water catchment system. This is a great way to keep the cost of running your cabin low.

Instead of building a log cabin from scratch you can also buy an older cabin like the Squirrels Nest and renovate it to bring it back to life. Many older log cabins that have been taken care of really well will still be in good enough condition to last many more years. Small log cabins are especially easy to maintain since there is less space overall to maintain. So keep that in mind when you're choosing log cabin designs and remember that small log cabins will also cost you less upfront and will be more affordable to heat and cool as well. You can see how they left the logs on the exterior of the log cabin in the original finish, but they painted the walls on the inside of the cabin white to give it a fresh and new look. You could also refinish the logs and bring out their natural beauty. Enjoy looking through the photos of this incredible historic log cabin and get inspired for your log cabin build. The Squirrels Nest cabin building is available to rent for $135 per night

This is part 2 of our look at guerrilla warfare. A rather timely, though hopefully not prophetic topic for our current age. The first part looked at WHY a guerrilla force may be deployed or arise. In this article, we are going to spend some time looking at the HOW.

Keep in mind these are very brief and surface-level looks, and as always, I've tried to include a ton of links to help those interested learn more.

There is way too much to cover in a single article. Many of these topics have been broken down into more specific issues in other pieces on our site. We will also put a list of military and private defense sources at the end of this article. There should be enough here to keep you learning for a long time...

The Agenda of Black Lives Matter Is Far Different From the Slogan

Commentary by Mike Gonzalez and Andrew Olivastro
The Heritage Foundation

Many see the slogan Black Lives Matter as a plea to secure the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all Americans, especially historically wronged African Americans. They add the BLM hashtag to their social-media profiles, carry BLM signs at protests, and make financial donations.

Tragically, when they do donate, they are likely to bankroll a number of radical organizations, founded by committed Marxists whose goals aren’t to make the American Dream a reality for everyone—but to transform America completely.

This might be unknown to some of the world’s best-known companies, which have jumped on the BLM bandwagon. Brands like Airbnb and Spanx have promised direct donations.

True, others like Nike and Netflix have shrewdly channeled their donations elsewhere, like the NAACP and other organizations that have led the struggle for civil rights for decades. These companies are likely aware of BLM’s extreme agenda and recoil from bankrolling destructive ideas. But it requires sleuthing to learn this.

Companies that don’t do this hard work are providing air cover for a destructive movement and compelling their employees, shareowners and customers to endorse the same. Just ask BLM leaders Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi. In a revealing 2015 interview, Cullors said, “Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists.” That same year, Tometi was hobnobbing with Venezuela’s Marxist dictator Nicolás Maduro, of whose regime she wrote: “In these last 17 years, we have witnessed the Bolivarian Revolution champion participatory democracy and construct a fair, transparent election system recognized as among the best in the world.”

Millions of Venezuelans suffering under Maduro’s murderous misrule presumably couldn’t be reached for comment.

Visit the Black Lives Matter website, and the first frame you get is a large crowd with fists raised and the slogan “Now We Transform.” Read the list of demands, and you get a sense of how deep a transformation they seek.

One proclaims: “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear-family-structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another.”

A partner organization, the Movement for Black Lives, or M4BL, calls for abolishing all police and all prisons. It also calls for a “progressive restructuring of tax codes at the local, state and federal levels to ensure a radical and sustainable redistribution of wealth.”

Another M4BL demand is “the retroactive decriminalization, immediate release and record expungement of all drug-related offenses and prostitution and reparations for the devastating impact of the ‘war on drugs’ and criminalization of prostitution.”

This agenda isn’t what most people signed up for when they bought their Spanx or registered for Airbnb. Nor is it what most people understood when they expressed sympathy with the slogan that Black Lives Matter.

Garza first coined the phrase in a July 14, 2013, Facebook post the day George Zimmerman was acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin. Her friend Cullors put the hashtag in front and joined the words, so it could travel through social media. Tometi thought of creating an actual digital platform, BlackLivesMatter.com.

The group became a self-styled global network in 2014 and a “fiscally sponsored project” of a separate progressive nonprofit in 2016, according to Robert Stilson of the Capital Research Center. This evolution has helped embolden an agenda vastly more ambitious than just #DefundthePolice.

The goals of the Black Lives Matter organization go far beyond what most people think. But they are hiding in plain sight, there for the world to see, if only we read beyond the slogans and the innocuous-sounding media accounts of the movement.

The group’s radical Marxist agenda would supplant the basic building block of society—the family—with the state and destroy the economic system that has lifted more people from poverty than any other. Black lives, and all lives, would be harmed.

Theirs is a blueprint for misery, not justice. It must be rejected.
