LOOKING FOR
FREELANCE JOBS? CHRIS AND SON ZACH OPEN FREELANCE SITE
As we've been saying
awhile now, much of our economy is moving toward independent contracting and
away from conventional employment. Many people are also looking for
"gigs" as opposed to long-term commitments. So Chris and her son Zach
put their heads together and launched ForcedtoFreelance.com.
The brand-new site
specializes in "gig-to-gig" hirers and leads, and includes a forum,
too, for networking and Q&A. To check them out, click here.

The simplest,
cheapest ways to take your manuscript from Word doc to ebook.
I self-published a book 10 years ago using iUniverse and I was amazed at how easy it was. It still took three months and we sold only 300 copies, but it only cost me $300. With the advent of ebook readers, you can now publish within hours and reach an audience of millions. Check out our How To story to find out everything you need. Just remember, the writing takes time.

The Nanny State Updates…
Oath Keepers
has posted a report about one incident in which federal agents actually visited
a food production facility and demanded the names of anyone that has been "purchasing bulk
food". The following come from an article about this incident that was
recently written by Rand Cardwell, the president of the Tennessee chapter of the Oath
Keepers....
A fellow veteran contacted me concerning a new and
disturbing development. He had been utilizing a Mormon cannery near his home to
purchase bulk food supplies. The man that manages the facility related to him
that federal agents had visited the facility and demanded a list of individuals
that had been purchasing bulk food. The manager informed the agents that the
facility kept no such records and that all transactions were conducted on a
cash-and-carry basis. The agents pressed for any record of personal checks,
credit card transactions, etc., but the manager could provide no such record.
The agents appeared to become very agitated and after several minutes of
questioning finally left with no information. I contacted the manager and
personally confirmed this information.
According to the FBI a bulk purchase of "meals ready to eat" is
now considered to be "suspicious activity" that should be reported to
them.
It was recently revealed that the FBI is actually paying a company to record as many Internet talk radio programs as possible. The following comes from a recent article by Mark Weaver of WMAL.com....
If you call a radio talk show and get on the air, you
might be recorded by the FBI.
The FBI has awarded a $524,927 contract to a Virginia
company to record as much radio news and talk programming as it can find on the
Internet.
The FBI says it is not playing big brother by policing the airwaves,
but rather seeking access to what airs as potential evidence.

The Parting Thought – Fleeing the USA in Search of
Jobs and Freedom?
A new study shows that
more U.S. citizens than ever before are living outside of the country.
The United States is
rapidly being turned into a totalitarian 'Big Brother' police state. Millions
of Americans are not excited about living in a giant prison, and they are
starting to look for alternatives. (See
the PM issue of 12-7 on 15 Ways the US is Becoming a Police State).
*According to the U.S.
State Department, 6.3 million Americans are either working or studying overseas.
That is the highest number that has ever been recorded.
*According to one
recent survey, "the percentage of Americans aged 25 to 34 actively
planning to relocate outside the U.S. has quintupled in just two years, from
less than 1 percent to 5.1 percent."
*That same survey
found that 40 percent of all Americans in the 18 to 24 age group are expressing
interest in relocation outside of the United States. Two years ago that figure
was only at 15 percent.
"While the United
States of America was at one point (and largely still is) a magnet for
foreigners in search of work, the statistics make it clear that an opposite
trend is quickly picking up steam.
"'There's
a feeling among more-entrepreneurial Americans that if you really want to get
anything done, you have to get out of country and away from the depressing
atmosphere,' Bob Adams of America
Wave tells Reuters. 'There's a sense of lost direction, so more people are
looking for locations that offer more hope about the future.'"
"So why are so many Americans looking to relocate?
"A lot of
Americans want to escape this country before they get sucked into the vortex of
poverty that has trapped so many other American families. 2.6 million more
Americans fell into poverty last year. In addition, according to the U.S.
Census Bureau, the percentage of Americans living in extreme poverty today is
higher than has ever been measured before.
During the Obama
administration, the U.S. government has accumulated more debt than it did from
the time that George Washington took office to the time that Bill Clinton took office. That is a recipe for national financial suicide.

It's getting scary out there and living in the USA is remindful of the frog and the boiling water story.
