"[O]ne
who values his life and takes seriously his responsibilities to his family and
community will possess and cultivate the means of fighting back, and will
retaliate when threatened with death or grievous bodily injury to himself or a
loved one. He will never be content to rely solely on others for his
safety...."

Doublespeak – the favored

Most people want to feel appreciated and important. How you feel appreciated, only you can answer for yourself. If you don’t know what would make you feel important, loved and appreciated, you might seek this out in another person, event or situation.
Most people want to escape boredom
Another most powerful desire that people have is to have fun, excitement, and escape boredom. Yes, people are always searching for best life and excitement in life.
If you don't have enough money, you are probably concerned with survival and the problems you face in life. Most of us want to either AVOID or GAIN something. We want to avoid bad health and poverty. We want love and riches. We want to be loved and wish to avoid pain and confrontation.

A question I asked all potential employees, If you had all the money you ever needed, never needed to worry about bills again…what would you do with your life?
Some answers I got were mundane, others surprising, others delightful and altruistic. What would you do with your life?

EDUCATION: The average cost of a private college tuition is now a staggering
$42,224 per year… a nearly 100% increase in the last decade. With these surging
prices you’d expect Americans to be smarter… but that’s simply not the case…
One recent report found that compared to other countries:
- America is #14 in Reading
- America is #25 in Math
- America is #17 in Science
From Kindergarten to College Our Education System Has Failed…
Research
shows that as recently as 2007, we spend $12,463 per student, per year in our
public education system. More than double the $5,593 we paid in 1970.
But
what do we get in return?
Not much when you consider in the early-1900s only 8.8% of the population completed high school… yet it was one of the most productive times in our country’s history.
Think about the innovations our grandparents saw in their lifetimes… from planes to cars… electricity to lights… indoor plumbing to the radio… they witnessed new industries that drastically changed the way the entire world lives.

A
report by College Board lists the 2011–2012 academic year average price for a
college budget at an in-state public, 4 year college at $21,447… and at a
private college it averaged $42,224.But here’s what shocking…
A recent study of undergraduate learning called Academically Adrift revealed that at least 45% of students in their sample gained no measurable skills during their four years in college.
And since 2000, the average income of college grads aged 25-34, has dropped – dropped – from $74,767 to $64,060 per year.

Drivel Makes Words Meaningless…Why most of us need someone to interpret their
gibberish they use to deceive the public.
Doublespeak
is language that deliberately disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning
of words. Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms (e.g., "downsizing" for layoffs, "servicing the target" for bombing), in
which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable. It may
also refer to intentional ambiguity in language
or to actual inversions of meaning (for example, naming a state of war
"peace"). In such cases, doublespeak disguises the nature of the
truth. Doublespeak is most closely associated with political language.
Actual
Translation, 'Oops we screwed up. Here's what you should learn from this
screw up.'
Bailout
- This is the process of helping out large corporations with money until it can
be repaid by the company.
Actual
Translation, 'In return for this loan we are taking an equity position in
your company even if you pay back all the money, we are now part owners.' Of
course the ramifications of this are that the government that can pass laws
that effect companies now owns one of these companies. Now private companies
must compete with the very same entity that passes laws that govern how that
company can do business, pay taxes, etc. Not a good thing.
Reform - Changing
the law to ostensibly improve something or correct wrongs of the past. Think health care reform,
financial reform, campaign finance reform, immigration reform... the list goes
on.
Actual
Translation - 'The government is going to take this over so we can control
it and decide who gets what and how much of it. We need to add more regulation
and complicate it more so only a bureaucrat can understand it and you need an accountant
or lawyer to figure it out. ' Nothing the government 'reforms' actually
gets simpler or better, it just gets regulated more.
Citizen
- Person who lives in a country or region.
Actual
Translation - Taxpayer, Voter
Public
Servant - One whose job it is to
serve the public. Usually, in reference to an elected
politician, certainly not bureaucrats.
Actual
Translation - 'Fooled you into electing me so now I can do what I really
wanted to do all along.' Okay, that's a little sarcastic but it is closer
to the truth than it may sound. Name one politician that serves their
constituency and not their political party. The list is very short. Once a
politician gets elected, they become focused on getting re-elected so they can
maintain their power. Very few actually serve their public and I'll leave it at
that.
Actual
Translation - 'Those people being exploited by the rich that need the
government to come in and tax the rich so they can make it fair.'
