The Anatomy of a Breakdown
If we can all agree on one thing, it’s that the
government and disaster organizations alike grossly underestimate how dependent
the majority of the population is on them during and after a disastrous event
takes place. We need not look any further than the last major disasters that
have occurred to find our answers: the Haitian earthquake that occurred in
2010, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the 2011 super tornado of Joplin, MO, and even
as recently as Hurricane Sandy.
As preppers are well aware, when the needs of the
population cannot be met in an allotted time frame, a phenomena occurs and the
mindset shifts in people. They begin to act without thinking and respond to
changes in their environment in an emotionally-based manner, thus leading to
chaos, instability and a breakdown in our social paradigm.
When you take the time to understand how a
breakdown behaves and how it progresses, only then can you truly prepare for it
.
.
.
This glimpse into a systemic
breakdown is based on an isolated, limited disaster or event where
emergency responders have been deployed. I must emphasize that all bets are off
if the event is wide spread, affecting multiple tens of millions of people
simultaneously.
Phase 1: The Warning
Although disasters such as earthquakes and
tornadoes can come on so quickly that timely warnings are not always given, for
the most part, governments typically provide adequate time to get a population
ready in advance. Local governments even go as far as to err on the side of
caution and sternly warn the citizens to evacuate.
For one reason or another, there will be a select
group that stays behind. Some of these citizens are prepared and ready for what
may come and may feel the need to stay to defend what is rightfully theirs but
the majority of the population will not be ready for what they are about to
endure. Those that are in this unprepared majority who choose to ride out the
disaster do so because they are either unaware of how to fully prepare for
disasters, have become complacent or numb to the heeds of warning from the
local government and news media, or are overly confident.
This is the point in this cycle where herds of
people go to the grocery stores frantically grabbing supplies. Most grocery
stores will not be able to meet the demand of the people’s need for supplies,
and many could go home empty handed.

However,
it should be noted that there is an alternate view on what most people will do
if society collapses. For historians who study disasters and social collapse,
there is hope that people won’t automatically turn into savages if the grid
goes down. A writer for Slate recently
interviewed several experts on this topic, and here’s what they had to say:
Can
this ray of sunshine be trusted? I’d love to believe it can be. I asked Scott
Knowles, a historian of disaster, what historians and sociologists who study
collapses and disasters have to say. His answer: It depends. “We help, and also
we don’t,” Knowles said in an email to me.
Over
the years, academic researchers have gone back and forth on the question. “This
whole area of work really got going in the Cold War when defense planners
wanted to model post-[nuclear] attack scenarios,” Knowles wrote. The Disaster
Research Center at Ohio State University (which has since moved to the
University of Delaware) “did the work over years to model community response,
and they pushed back strongly on the idea of social collapse—they found instead
too much of the opposite—people converge on a disaster scene!”
And
there are countless examples of people being altruistic and coming together
during disasters…
Today we are
witnessing a breakdown in civility in many areas of life: at public
gatherings, on our roads, in our
schools, at our parks and elsewhere. But
where I see it at its worst is in the halls of Congress. Politics has never been a game for the meek
[even becoming so contentious as to fuel duels in the early days of our
nation]…
Our nation is the most divided that it has been in my entire lifetime, and it
isn’t going to take too much to push America into a state of full-blown civil
unrest.
U.S. Representative Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) is a
gifted public speaker. If he chose to use that gift for good, he could make a
tremendous difference in this country. But instead, he is using his gift to
encourage people to hate President Trump. During a recent appearance at
Chicago’s Lincoln United Methodist Church on Saturday, Gutierrez actually
referred to Trump as a “criminal” multiple times…
“The major criminal that exists in the United States
of America is called Donald Trump [and] he lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Av at the
White House,” Gutierrez stormed.
“Someone who takes health care away from 33 million
people is a criminal,” he said.
But of course he didn’t stop there.
He invited the congregation to “take action” and take
back the Congress so that Trump could be put before the Senate in impeachment
proceedings.
Gutierrez said Trump must be “eliminated… as the
president of the United States of America.”
You can watch Gutierrez making these comments on video
right
here.
Hopefully Gutierrez did not intend to incite his followers to violence with his
remarks, but they are definitely rather chilling, especially considering what
else we have learned lately.
Just recently, Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne revealed
that a prominent member of Congress told him that “there is a plot on Capitol Hill to take the president out”,
and that this plot would result in Trump being “removed suddenly from office”…
Members of Trump’s own party are stabbing him in the back. Many establishment
Republicans hate Trump as much as the Democrats do, and they would not shed a
tear if Trump was somehow removed from power.
They are helping to
undermine and destroy this nation.
We are at a critical moment in our history. For
decades, the elite have had a hammerlock on our political system, and that is
why nothing has ever seemed to change very much no matter which party was in
power.
When Donald Trump came along, the American people
realized that they finally had a chance to fight back against the
establishment. And so even though he made mistakes, tens of millions of
Americans stuck with Trump because he tapped into that fundamental hunger for
liberty and freedom that we all have deep inside of us.
It literally was a miracle that Trump was able to
overcome relentless attacks by the mainstream media and the political machines
of both major political parties to become the president of the United States.
But now the elite figure that if they can just figure out a way to get rid of
him that things can go back to “normal”.
We cannot allow that to happen. This is our best shot
at taking our government back, and so we need to do whatever we can to support
Trump, and we also need to do whatever we can to get him a lot more friends in
Congress in 2018.
As I wrote at the beginning of Trump’s presidency
[based on predictions from my contacts who are former insiders in the
intelligence community], the hatred of Trump, an outsider who usurping the
power of DC insiders is so strong they are banding together to do anything to
get rid of him. That means sabotaging
his family, planting false stories, continual investigations, etc. Distract and
disgust and as a former MI6 associate of mine told me, they might even go so
far as to “take him out’ before his third year in office” which is how shallow
and callous these DC rats are.
The Democrats have only offered the nation a false
narrative, one that cheated Blacks and others out of their civil rights rather
than promoted them [despite the false bill of goods they promised…you could
almost mistake them for real human beings] and seem intent on turning America
into a ‘socialist paradise.
Finally, here’s an example of an elected official who
truly belongs in prison and has been under FBI investigation for fraud several
times [indeed, her entire family has been investigated and she doesn’t even
live in the city that she was elected to represent]…
Maxine Waters Calls Tucker
Racist For Asking How She Got $4.3M Home On A Lawmaker’s Salary
|
According to Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Tucker Carlson is a
racist because he questioned how she was able to live in a $4.3 million home
with just a lawmaker's salary.
NOTE: Today more people have
access to cell phones than working toilets, and the average person checks their
phone 110 times a day – and nearly every 6 seconds in the evening! This perpetual interaction is a detriment to
our productivity and personal safety and is actually hurting our
intelligence. A study at King’s College
at London University found that when distracted, workers suffered a 10 to 15
point IQ loss – a greater dumbing down than experienced when smoking marijuana. A fifteen-point deficiency is significant, as
it brings an adult down to the same IQ level as an eight-year-old child.

We do live in scary times...
We've been witnessing the breakdown of morality [thanks to Hollywood and leftists] for a long time and the younger generation in particular is just fine with it...every great civilization eventually fell because of it. Just look at Rome.
