China’s Plan to Rule the World

China’s Plan to Rule the World

I’ve written before how China has stolen our military secrets, how it has been creating land in the South China sea and intimidating its neighbors while building up military bases on these newly minted military islands, how it is constructing more nuclear submarines, carrier destroying missiles and even has plans to construct a base on the moon within the next 25 years all with the goal of surpassing the United States to become the dominant nation on earth.

American shows of force are unlikely to reverse or even halt China’s gains in the South China Sea. According to the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, China has almost completed its defensive and reconnaissance structures in the Spratly and Paracel Islands. These structures will be able to support dozens of combat aircraft and ships, as well as coastal artillery and other military supplies, which can assist Beijing in establishing an air defense identification zone above the South China Sea and in defending the sea lines of communication necessary for China’s economic growth.

I’ve also written for years that we should be more focused on China, not Russia.  As a former Naval Intelligence Analyst who routinely examined the former Soviet Union many decades ago,  I always felt China was going to one day prove our biggest threat.  We must keep a strategic eye on China.

The first step is for the United States to declare support for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-China framework for a Code of Conduct for the South China Sea (COC). While the United States has acknowledged the framework, it has provided suggestions for the COC’s future without endorsing the mutually agreed framework. Declaring support for the joint ASEAN-Chinese effort would help reduce tensions between the United States and China. It would also signal that Washington values Beijing as a diplomatic partner.

Chinese president Xi Jinping of China’s Communist Party has proposed eliminating term limits for himself, effectively making himself emperor for life, enabling him to rule the world’s most populous nation without recourse to any checks and balances.  This power grab has supposedly shaken European political leaders but since the United States has abdicated its role as global leader beginning with the Obama’s first term in office, many see Germany as assuming a more assertive leadership role in Europe…few believe China is moving toward the Western values of democracy and rule of laws.

Its “One Belt, One Road” initiative is the key to its plan.  It is a staggeringly massive development project spanning dozens of countries – the most ambitious global engineering endeavor the world has ever seen since the Roman Empire.  The overland “belt” part entrails highways, railways, and all their supporting infrastructure, including power and the internet, across multiple land routes from western China through Central Asia to the Middle East and Europe.

Our nation, starting with President Nixon, who opened the door to trade with China when he visited that nation and took us off the gold standard, and furthered under President Clinton who allowed many of our military secrets to be stolen by Chinese military computer hackers, has allowed the Chinese to progress at an alarming rate.

The maritime road part consists of new ports, ships, and sea routes from southern China across the Indian Ocean to Africa [the Chinese have been very, very busy exploiting trade in Africa while the U.S. has sat on its ass] and through the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.  If all these projects bear fruit, trade along these routes will exceed $2.5 trillion a year.

Already, China has invested $1 trillion in the project, and 68 governments and international organizations have agreed to participate.  China is attempting to provide an ideological and moral alternative to the United States.  Within their own country they have already poured more concrete and materials in the past ten years than we have in the past century…and our Congress cannot get its act together to fix our ailing infrastructure!

Their goal according to our own MI6 and Pentagon analysts [my sources wish to remain anonymous] is to return China to its glory days as the center of the ‘Imperial World.’

The United States needs to diplomatically engage China over the South China Sea to reduce tensions, build trust, and achieve a quick and lasting solution to the North Korea problem and to regain its leadership role in the world.

A Black Swan event we should guard against here in this country include one where China dumps its Treasuries and revalues its currency upward, sending U.S. consumer prices and bond yields sharply higher…already, China, Russia and OPEC nations are looking to form trading alliances and may refuse to accept payment in U.S. dollars, potentially causing shortages and prices spikes of imported goods.

Is anyone in Washington noticing?  This has been taking place for more than a decade!

I think you accurately hit the proverbial nail on the head. Going back to Nixon and Clinton. Nixon opened the doors and Clinton gave away the 'china' and the average American is clueless [as they are about most things]. I'm never sure if Americans are that stupid purposely or if schools and politicos keep them that way on purpose; either way, ever since Obama was in office, the United States gave up its leadership role and most of Europe knows it. I agree that Germany will once again become top dog there.

The average US citizen is clueless in this regard...too busy guzzling beer or smoking weed. You are spot on in your observations and comments. However, given well-known U.S. national security concerns about Huawei and other Chinese telecommunications companies, a shift to Chinese dominance in 5G would have substantial negative national security consequences for the United States.
For years, the feds have suspected Huawei has been hacking into government and corporate secrets in the United States. (And it goes both ways — as we pointed out four years ago, the Edward Snowden leaks revealed the NSA has been hacking into Huawei as well.)
Still more tariffs targeting China are in the works to combat the Chinese government’s alleged theft of “intellectual property.”

There seems to be two elements to the real New World Order: A Chinese led Asia and a German-Franco led Europe. Neither one of these events is ever touched upon by the "head-in-the-sand" American press...not that Americans would notice anyhow. They're too busy glued to their iPhone or other shiny object, completely oblivious to what is going on in the world.
