Deep State Defeats the People, McCabe, The Wall
Democrats
and RINOS pulled the wool over the president and the nation with a last-minute
BS budget that inserted several “bullets” that were hard to dodge but avoided a
shutdown and had Speaker Pelosi smirking before cameras.
The
bill provides lots of candy for illegals and not much for the American people
but who really cares so long as it provides illegal votes for the Democrats and
fresh meat…I mean cheap workers for the industries that support Democrats. Perhaps that beats having to pay those
Chinese workers assembling I-Phones a few bucks a day for Apple so Americans
can shell out a $1,000 for a phone and Apple can continue supporting Democratic
war chests!
After
all, the Democrats have become the party of the rich, especially Silicon
Valley…those limousine liberals must stick together. Of course, what will they do with those gas
guzzlers once the socialist greens finalize the take-over of their party? Perhaps Silicon Valley will invent the
electric limo by then.
President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to
build a wall on the southern border demonstrates how much power Congress has
given away, how much extraordinary power
presidents have amassed. I look at the
so-called “Patriot Act” as an example of what Pres. George Bush enacted with the
collusion of Congress and how it robbed
America of its rights, especially the 4th Amendment which virtually
eliminated all privacy in this nation…few in Congress defended those rights!
Trump invoked both coequal branches Friday, citing
the National Emergencies Act passed by Congress in 1976 in support of spending
more money on a wall than Congress chose to provide. At the same time, he
predicted that the question of his power to do so will inevitably rest with the
Supreme Court.
A historic decision, then, may be approaching.
Despite at least 58 emergency declarations since 1976, the high court has yet
to confront the issues raised by them and the laws authorizing them.
Wherever the court lands it will make history: If it
strikes down Trump’s action or upholds it, the justices will redefine
presidential power; if it refuses to consider the merits of the challenges,
deciding instead that it is a “political question,” the court could foreclose
challenges against future presidents who go even further.
The long-term importance of this case deeply worries
some, even me.
“Frustrated with Washington, President Trump believes he has
no choice but to take this action today,” Kay Coles James, president of the
Heritage Foundation, said in a
statement Friday. “While it is strictly
constitutional . . . this creates a dangerous precedent for future
administrations.”
Much of the land he would need to build the wall is
in private hands, and “the president can’t take private property to build
something” without the permission of Congress, said Robert Turner, a
conservative lawyer and member of the Federalist Society. The president, he
believes, is on shaky legal ground.
I’m unsure if eminent domain would apply in this
situation.
“My sense is this is going to be a hard fight for the
president,” he said. “I can’t say I’m certain he’s going to lose. But it would
surprise me if he wins.”
Personally, I feel President Trump should explore
other methods including cutting off welfare dollars to who provide such to
illegals, imposing strict health examinations for those entering our nation to
stop disease, etc.
Why
our border needs a wall:
“Coordinated smuggling of large numbers
of Central Americans is taking place daily here in Yuma Sector,” Yuma
Sector Chief Patrol Agent Anthony Porvaznik said in a written statement. “They
show flagrant disregard for the laws of our country and are exploiting our need
for improved border wall infrastructure.”

Traitors Who Should be in Jail
Instead
of writing and profiting from books, former disgraced FBI [many might say
traitors] James Comey and Andrew McCabe should be wearing handcuffs for their
attempted coup.
Former
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe told CBS News' "60 Minutes" that he
ordered obstruction of justice and counterintelligence investigations into
President Donald Trump after a conversation with him immediately after he fired
James Comey as FBI director.
McCabe,
who was ousted from the bureau after becoming acting director last March
following Comey's firing in May 2017, told CBS's Scott Pelley that he was
concerned Trump would try to make the overall investigation into Russian election
meddling go away.
"I
was speaking to the man who had just run for the presidency and won the
election for the presidency, and who might have done so with the aid of the
government of Russia, our most formidable adversary on the world stage,"
McCabe said. "And that was something that troubled me greatly.
The Justice Department disputed McCabe's assertions in the
interview, calling his recollections "inaccurate and factually
incorrect."
"The
Deputy Attorney General never authorized any recording that Mr. McCabe
references," the department's statement said. "As the Deputy Attorney
General previously has stated, based on his personal dealings with the
President, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment, nor was the DAG in a
position to consider invoking the 25th Amendment."
The 25th
Amendment was created in 1965 [stemming from Woodrow Wilson’s illness when his
wife reputedly ran the government]*. So
to use this as a pretext to undermine Trump’s new presidency was a crock of
crap launched by the Deep State as a coup and this man belongs in jail in my
opinion…indeed, he whined about being fired, asking that his termination be
held off until his pension would kick in.
I truly
thought McCabe and his wife were already facing criminal proceedings-how this
was overlooked shocks me…just as it does that Comey has managed to bypass any
legal repercussions for his divulging confidential material to the media while
holding down his job, a clear violation of his duties and an offense he should have been arrested for.
Watch
his interview on 60 Minutes Sunday evening.
Here’s my idea for a new bill
Since term limits
never seems to gain any traction perhaps we should entertain the idea of zero
pay for elected officials after their third term in office…give them their
office, expenses, health insurance while in office and a living allowance only=much
like our Founding Fathers and see how many decide to remain in office.
* In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his
Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said
Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President ...
This provision is ambiguous as to whether, in the enumerated
circumstances, the vice president becomes the president, or merely assumes the
"powers and duties" of the presidency. It also fails to define what
constitutes inability, or how questions concerning inability are to
be resolved.[3] The Twenty-fifth Amendment addresses these deficiencies.

Free: Economics in One Lesson -
Something the ‘new’ Democrats should read!
Employers need to hire more people than ever (Thomas
R.)
Job openings have outpaced hiring since December of 2017, which
shows that employers are having a difficult time finding enough workers to fill
all the positions they have available. There have been more open jobs than
unemployed people since March 2018.
A record 7 million Americans have stopped paying their car
loans, and even economists are surprised (Mark U.)
People often prioritize car loans because many need to drive to
get to work and earn a paycheck, The Washington Post's Heather Long reported.
The fact that a record number of Americans aren't making those payments is
"usually a sign of significant duress among low-income and working-class Americans,"
Long wrote.
The most direct way of discussing 4GW is to say that it describes
any war between a state actor and a non-state actor. This is also known as
asymmetrical warfare, but it’s not the only difference between 4GW and other,
earlier forms of conflict. Asymmetrical warfare does, to be sure, blur the lines
between combatants and civilians. This is in part what made the Bush-era “war
on terror” so difficult and complicated: The war was against a set of ideas
rather than a nation or even an extra-national army.
The Federal Reserve is supposed to maintain the value of the
currency and encourage full employment. They proclaim their importance while
they extract wealth from savings and transfer that wealth to the financial and
political elite. Lobbyists and congresspersons are supported by the Fed, so the
Fed is protected.

Chaos Survival Guide: Savvy Precautions To Make You Self-Reliant
The 75 most populous
cities’ total unfunded debt is approximately $330 billion. Most of this debt
comes from unfunded retiree benefit promises, such as retiree healthcare debt
and pensions. Unfortunately, one of the ways the cities help make their budgets
look balanced is by shortchanging public pension funds.
Gold’s move come as the
Federal Reserve is expected to strike a dovish tone in its monetary policy
statement and in central bank chair Jerome Powell’s ensuing press conference.
Central bank officials, including Powell, have been hesitant to signal further
tightening in monetary policy following its December hike. In two events at the
start of the year Powell said that because of low inflation pressures, the
Federal Reserve can be “patient” on interest rate hikes. According to media
reports, the central bank could also signal a slowdown in its balance-sheet
reduction program, which Powell has previously described as on auto-pilot.
When asked what his current

"Long gold."
Many workers assume that
Social Security will suffice in retirement because their living expenses will
go down once they stop working. The reality, however, is that things like
housing and transportation tend to only drop modestly, if at all, during
retirement. The reason? While many seniors enter retirement with their
mortgages already paid off, as homes age, they tend to require more repairs and
maintenance, the cost of which can be enough to offset an absent mortgage
payment. The same holds true for owning a car -- though retirees don't have
commuting costs to contend with, they still have to worry about insurance and
auto maintenance, which can be far more expensive than filling up a vehicle's
tank twice a week.

Most folks have their head stuck in the sand-surprised to see your content on a weekend but understand since 60 Minutes airs tonight...you're right, I thought McCabe news was kind of old news and the he and his wife had already been dishonored by everyone...it's amazing guys like him are still walking around.
You're right again. Watched the 60 Minutes interview-McCabe is a snake and as some senators are saying, this man needs to be taught a lesson.
