experts with varying backgrounds -- from business, government, and health --
sat around a table to plan the global response
to a worldwide outbreak of a freakishly unprecedented -- coronavirus.
The event was put on through a collaboration between the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, the World Economic Forum, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
And, strangely…
It was a training exercise with disturbing similarities to COVID-19 -- the Chinese virus that’s gone global.
During the simulation, the virus, called CAPS, infected people all across the globe within six months…
And by 18 months, despite their best efforts to contain it, it had killed 65 million people and caused a total global financial collapse.

With this
rapidly evolving outbreak, the CDC
has done its best to stay in control of the rhetoric of keeping the public
informed. Their main focus was to stay cautiously alert and keep the public
calm, but as of today, they have significantly shifted their official statement
and there is no denying the fact that coronavirus will come to communities in
the U.S.
·
“Ultimately, we expect we will
see community spread in the United States,” Nancy Messonnier, a top official at
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told reporters. “It’s not a
question of if this will happen but when this will happen and how many people
in this country will have severe illnesses.” (Source)

PARTING THOUGHTS, Resources
The human race has been bugging out for thousands of years.
History is filled with stories of entire civilizations abandoning their
homelands due to wars, pandemics, and natural disasters. It’s nothing new, and
neither are the natural and manmade disasters that plague us to this day.
We live in a time when the continent of Australia is
literally on fire, when wars are measured in decades rather than years, and
when rogue countries are ruled by the rage of animal instinct. If that doesn't
motivate you to build a bug out bag, nothing will.
Perhaps the most critical consideration for any evacuation
is the duration. If you’re evacuating for a short period of time due to a
natural disaster, your bug out preparations could be as simple as a 72-hour
kit, as FEMA calls it. If the duration is long-term, everything gets more
complicated, especially if it's a manmade disaster like war, terrorism, or
economic collapse...
I infuse my falsifications into descriptions, I refer to non-existent
‘facts’ as though there were universally accepted truths, and I employ reliance
and veracity based on untrue references to someone or some belief that they
hold as a high authority.

"If it bleeds, it leads," - this is the stereotype for media news; they love stirring up the panic pot AND if they can somehow lie & say it's all Trump's fault, all the better. That jackass Chuck Schumer quickly whined that Trump didn't ask for enough cash to 'fight' the virus-well Chucky, that was an initial request and it's not as if our CDC et al is broke...beside, why didn't you initiate the request yourself? Oh that's right, you're a do-nothing Dem.
Like you, I stopped using fb a long time ago-don't need it, don't want it.
The media is over hyping [often in an unfounded negative light toward Trump] the virus threat in the US. Trump's health team is apparently staying on top of things but like all good preppers, we remain vigilant. My wife stopped at Revco & inquired about face masks, etc.-all sold out! Good to see others taking precautions and thankfully, we stocked up on such items many moon ago! That's why we follow the Boy Scout mantra of 'be prepared' and we rely on your site to get current info on these topics-THANKS!
