Food and water storage now!
Not more than 10 percent of the readers of our readers could live more than a
month on their stored food and supplies.
Storing food is something that we have to do before we need it.
Think now; if we needed stored food today, it would be too late. If you have
taken our advice and own gold and silver and have food and water stockpiled,
you can weather a storm. Those who choose to depend on big daddy government
"stimulus" will suffer.
Americans are used to plenty of "food." Most of them
can't imagine not being able to go to the store to get food of some sort. It
truly takes vision and planning for the future, especially now.
You see, right now in this strange economy, there is a shortage of
shipping containers. Every empty one is being rounded up and sent to Asia to be
filled with all the electronics and furniture and high-margin goods Americans
are buying while they’re home. Guess what’s not being shipped? Agricultural
products — because the margins are too low. Agricultural shipments are even
being canceled and the containers rerouted to ship higher-value goods. American
farmers are having trouble getting their products shipped out of the U.S. to be
sold or traded. I, for one, am not sure there won’t be a food shortage in just
a few months.
We have long urged you to store food. But now to the point! In my
opinion, we now face more than a probability of much higher prices, scarcity,
and resulting social problems. Can we not imagine that an honest man will steal
and even plunder if he and his family is hungry?
Agriculture is one of the very few sectors globally that currently
faces supply shortages. There is the distinct possibility that this next decade
we will see desperate struggles for food and water. Rising food prices will
cause extreme hunger and famine. This will lead to social unrest, revolution,
and wars.
Does anyone doubt that the incoming regime-elect in the U.S. will
cause extreme hardship because of the further lockdowns they will
impose? Note that they do not warn the people to protect themselves. They
only talk about trillions of dollars in "stimulus" that ultimately go
to corporations and banksters and not people who need to eat.
Still, probably not more than a few can see the negative trends.
They still can't visualize disaster.
Food prices have risen just since march due to the lockdowns, and
shortages still persist. We hear from our readers in the construction business
that they still can't get everything they need to remodel or build a house.
They can't even find matching pairs of washer-dryers. Most appliance factories
and warehouses in the United States and abroad are operating at 50 percent
capacity. Do we think food production and distribution are any less affected? I
can assure you dear reader that they are not.
Have you ever really been hungry? I had far rather have food
storage, or even overstorage, and not ever need it than not to have it and be
hungry. Food storage may not guarantee that you won't be hungry but not storing
food will almost certainly guarantee there will be hunger in your future.
So, I always recommend you start with a three-day supply. If you
are feeding a family of four for three days, you will need to plan on three
breakfast meals, three lunches and three dinners. If you need a store of food
so you're prepared to weather any kind of emergency, here is what we feel is
the best emergency food you can get anywhere: Just follow this link for a
deep discount.
The main idea is to prepare. That way, if the U.S. should take a
turn for the worse, you won't find yourself on a diet of meager meals, scraping
to get by.
Water storage is even more crucial than food, as a person will die
in two or three days without water.
An average person needs about two gallons of water per day — one
for drinking and one for washing, cooking, sponge bathing, laundry and washing
dishes. If you live in a warm climate you need to have even more on hand.
Bottled water can be purchased from the store, or you can store
your own in plastic or glass containers. If you use plastic, stick with used
soft drink bottles as they are more dependable. Milk jugs are not good for
long-term storage as they break down over time.
To figure how much water you need, multiply two gallons by the
number of people in your family and the number of days for which you want to
prepare. For large quantities, large plastic storage drums are available from survivalist
stores and online.
It's also a good idea to have on hand the materials you need to
purify water, which can be done by boiling, use of chemicals (such as bleach or
iodine) or purification tablets available from an outdoor supply store.
If you are serious about storing food and water for a survival
situation it's a good idea to buy a book or two on the subject. One good one is
Emergency Food Storage and Survival Handbook by Peggy Layton. But there are
many others available that will help to set you on the right course.
The nature of a crisis implies that it comes on without warning,
so preparedness is the key to survival. That means get ready now for the time when
store shelves are empty and the water tap is dry.
Yours for the truth,

Warning bells should be going off
in your head right now!
When most people think of preppers, they picture people
living in a house somewhere in the country. However, preppers can be anywhere,
including small apartments in large urban areas.
The challenges of prepping for a natural or human-made
disaster can be challenging for city-dwellers because of a lack of storage
space. But the need to be prepared is just as great. When you consider the high
number of people living in close proximity to you, the need may even be
greater.
For the purpose of this article, we will examine what
you need to have on hand in the event you are unable to leave your apartment
for an extended period of time. These days, it’s not difficult to imagine
situations that might make it unsafe for you to venture outside. It could be
anything from a riot in the streets to a natural disaster...

Your blog is a national treasure-thank you for all that you do!
Another outstanding post and resources [just ordered a t-shirt]
My fellow RUSH listeners all want to do something to STOP the socialists-I send them here!
The Democrats are planning to push through a crushing list of socialist policies if they get control of the White House, the House of Representatives, and THE SENATE!
To start, they're going to cancel over $1.6 billion in student loans as if there's a Money Fairy that can just make it all disappear without transferring those costs onto the backs of hardworking Americans.
And liberal governors that have destroyed their state economies with lockdowns want to force taxpayers in other states to pay their bills with a multi-trillion-dollar federal bailout.
Under the bogus 'leadership' of our dimwit governor in MI, our economy is failing and thousands were put out of work/business-she's gutting our state!
