The existing social order is a swindle and
its cherished beliefs mostly delusions.
--George Orwell
It’s become a real
challenge to keep a low profile from various government authorities. With various agencies offering rewards for
those who turn you in for “offenses” such as taxes, construction without
building permits, having offshore bank accounts, doing business ‘off-the-books,’
and more, what’s a citizen to do while simply trying to be left alone?
One of the main ways
to stay out of trouble with government agents is to keep a low profile, i.e.,
stay away from those situations wherein you call attention to yourself. After
all, if they don't know about you, they can't attack you. Here are some
practical methods to use to keep a low profile.
It is not necessary,
nor is it desirable, to fight the bureacrats on every front. If you do that,
you will just gain a reputation as a "radical" and the effectiveness
of your fights will be diluted. If you are going to fight a battle with the
bureaucrats, you should pick an area where you have a good chance of winning and
a venue where you can get some favorable publicity. This means learning all you
can about the area before you start the fight and it means making sure you are
in a good position, both lawfully and legally. But mostly it means to figure
out a way around the problem rather than attacking it head on.
Offshore
assets. The IRS is
increasingly obsessed with tracking down and taxing the income earned on assets
held in offshore bank and securities accounts. As of the beginning of the year,
the IRS now has 800 new employees trained specifically in international issues.
Along with the Justice Department, the IRS is aggressively pursuing these
accounts.
Exit the
system. Quit your job,
rescind your Social Security Number, cancel your drivers' license, move into the
hills, and start living off the land. This is not a method that most people
will select although it is a very effective method. But, remember the law of
survival. By exiting the system, you will be significantly reducing the odds of
passing on your genes.
Become a
Permanent Tourist. You can
become a temporary resident of a country and then move on to another country
before you have stayed long enough to be considered a permanent resident. Most
countries treat visitors much better than they treat their citizens so this can
represent a significant increase in your personal freedom. The method requires
some manipulation of the passport system and it does mean that you will not be
able to "settle down" but it does work. If you are interested in looking
into this method further, you can find more information in "The
World Citizen Ideas of Garry Davis". Don't forget to come back here when you're finished.
Go Offshore. Going offshore means to keep all or part of your
assets in financial organizations in a country different from your country of
residence. For example, if you live in the US, Canada would be offshore for
you. (Although I don't recommend that you put your assets in Canada, either.)
There are advantages and disadvantages to going offshore. An advantage is that
your assets are managed under the laws of the offshore country which usually
give a huge advantage to offshore assets. Unless there is a tax treaty between
your country and the country where your assets are, your financial affairs will
not be reported to your home country

A hand washer is a great way to get your clothes clean
without electric power. Some even have a wringer to squeeze excess water from
the fabric and speed up drying time.
Tip: Consider getting some clothesline and clothespins
for the drying process as well.

energy-efficient lifestyle.
Of course, I had to
see how my energy usage compared to the average American. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, “the average annual electricity consumption for a
U.S. residential utility customer was 11,040 kilowatt-hours (kWh), an average
of 920 kWh per month.” However
Another essential emergency tool you should consider
is a treadle (pedal) sewing machine. Not only is it useful for your own needs –
it could even provide a source of barter/income in a pinch.
The Nanny State Updates…
Internet and
Free Speech under attack by Congress
The Stop Online Piracy
Act (SOPA) and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) would give the
federal government the ability to potentially shut down millions of websites.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin, is alarmed that SOPA would give the U.S. government
the power to censor search results without even having to go through a court
trial....
"Imagine my astonishment when the newest threat
to free speech has come from none other but the United States. Two bills
currently making their way through congress -- SOPA and PIPA -- give the U.S.
government and copyright holders extraordinary powers including the ability to
hijack DNS and censor search results (and this is even without so much as a
proper court trial)"
The government should
not take our property away without a fair trial.
But now SOPA would
allow the U.S. government to hit Internet websites with a "death
penalty" without even having to go to court.
Many believe that the
language of the new law is so vague that it would allow the government to
permanently shut down any website that even links very briefly to
"infringing material". Prominent websites such as Facebook, Twitter
and YouTube would be constantly in danger of being given a "death
penalty". The American people need to ask their members of Congress this
question: Do you plan to vote for SOPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act)? If the answer is yes, that is a clear
indication that you should never cast a single vote for that member of Congress
ever again.
Canned goods were invented in the 1880s. The whole
process of canning in bottles dates back to the great work of French
confectioner and Chef Nicolas Appert, who perfected the process in 1810.

Peaceful Revolution - Don’t Vote (for democrat or republican)
Most Americans are
scratching and clawing and doing whatever they can to make a living these
days…but they’ll continue to re-elect the same wolves.
Despite the promises made by politicians, is our country any better off? Is your family any better off? Do we have more freedom or less today?

You are so right on target. Congress is nothing more than a bunch of pirates, stealing from us indentured servants.
All of what you say is true my friend ,the exception is Dr Ron Paul, the only chance you or I will have in our lifetime to vote for a true Thomas Jefferson , or George Washington... God Bless you all..ronpaul2012.com
