Site After Facebook Blocks Tens Of Millions From His Posts
After Steven Andrew had nearly 70
million people blocked from his posts by Facebook, he decided to use it as a
positive thing and begin a brand new social media page, and the name of the new
venture might be catchy to some, USA.Life.
Andrew said, "Facebook lied to Congress and America"
during Mark Zuckerberg's testimony before Congress in April.
According to a statement, "Steven Andrew is a Silicon Valley technology and
Christian leader, who loves America. What makes him unique is he passionately
believes like our founding fathers that God gives us liberty. He has extensive
business and technical leadership experience to the Fortune 500 and start ups,
including for Cisco, Stanford, Sega and Better Homes and Gardens, where he has
successfully led multi-million dollar initiatives."
Andrews has also constructed a search engine, 1776Free.com. I found it to load rather slow, and you have to create
an account to use it, which I don't understand why that is. Perhaps that will
change as things develop.

Andrew
is joining a long list of new social media ventures that are seeking to break
the Facebook mold such as
Steemit.com, Minds.com and Patreon.com. Several of these are seeking to use blockchain
technology in order to actually pay users for the content they provide without
annoying advertisements.
I wish him well in his endeavor as I wish the others in
theirs because the freedom to get real news and commentary out, along with
innovative ideas is essential to freedom.

Annual Defensive Gun Uses
Florida State University
criminologist Gary Kleck has stated since the early 1990s that there are a
greater number of defensive handgun uses (DGUs) each year
than people think. According to Wikipedia, “Defensive
gun use (DGU) is the use of a firearm in self-defense or defense of
others. The frequency of defensive firearms incidents, and their effectiveness
in providing safety and reducing crime is a controversial issue in gun politics
and criminology.”
Kleck believed that there were an
estimated annual 760,000 DGUs. In 2015, he and his research partner Marc Gertz
raised that number to almost 2.5 million. The shocking finding of a survey
recently discovered but never made public by the Center for Disease Control
(CDC) confirms that there are approximately 2.46 million DGUs per year.

About damn time! I know you stopped using Facebook months ago. I've been weaning myself off of it too.
I stopped using facebook-got tired of their non-stop censorship policies.
