I’ve written about the threat China poses to our nation for many years now.  Long time readers know this.  Too many in Congress have wasted time and money with three-ring circuses and clueless investigations when they should focus on our real enemies, namely CHINA!  I called out former President Clinton for giving away technology to the Chinese and few in the media or among our elected leaders ever raised a warning flag because they are seemingly clueless.  Only two leaders to my knowledge have publicly warned America about the danger China poses:  President Trump and Sen. Mark Rubio.

How Chinese Spying Affects You and Me

Recently...
A Chinese student linked to Beijing's Public Security Ministry was sentenced to prison for spying on equipment at a U.S. military base in Key West, Florida.
The student, identified as Zhao Qianli, is a Chinese national who told the FBI he was a music student visiting Florida as a tourist.
However, he was arrested by military police after taking pictures at Naval Air Station Key West.
According to police, Zhao had waded into the surf along a beach at the base to get around a security fence.
After getting around the fence, Zhou began taking images of communications antennas and equipment at a site called an "antenna farm," which is sensitive equipment used by the military and intelligence agencies at the base.
Zhao pleaded guilty to one count of illegally photographing a military facility and was sentenced to one year in prison.
After his arrest, FBI investigators searched Zhao's hotel room and found a blue shirt and belt buckle worn by Public Security Ministry police in China.
The ministry is China's main political police and intelligence service focused on domestic security.
It’s unusual for Public Security Ministry personnel to conduct overseas spying, which is typically carried out by spies from the People's Liberation Army.
Zhao spoke fluent English and carried no identification at the time of his arrest, a sign he was operating covertly.
He told police who confronted him that he was a tourist who was lost and had strayed on the base by accident.
However, investigators discovered Zhao was in touch with Chinese intelligence officers inside the United States before sneaking onto the base.
Zhao told investigators he had visited Key West to see the home of the late novelist Ernest Hemingway.
However, a search of his cell phone and camera found no images of the home or any images other than the ones from the base.
Zhao's lawyer insisted during the court trial that Zhao was not a spy and compared him to American student Otto Warmbier who was arrested in North Korea and later died after he was released from captivity.
The fact is, it's no secret that China and Russia are America's biggest adversaries when it comes to spying and competing for global power.
That’s why I want to share with you the top ways Chinese spying activities affect the average American.
Impact on economy. Economic espionage includes such activities as stealing trade secrets, manufacturing capabilities, material development, source code and software.
Primarily this is carried out by the People’s Liberation Army.
Cyber espionage and recruitments of agents are the primary means to collect this type of information.
Economists estimate the annual cost to the U.S. economy from China’s economic espionage is $320 billion.
Congress estimates China’s IP theft has resulted in the loss of 2 million American jobs.
The cumulative effect on the U.S. economy is trillions of dollars and falling global economic competitiveness.
In other words, not only is China a major trade partner for the U.S., but their espionage activities negatively affects our economy on a daily basis.
My point is, if you aren’t prepared for an economic collapse, do so now, because China will play a major role when it happens.
National security. The most critical issue for U.S. national security is the loss of military technological advantage.
China’s advances in weapons systems, including robotics, avionics, and naval systems are based mostly on technology stolen from the United States.
This massive espionage campaign, combined with two decades of increased defense spending, provide China’s Navy and Air Force with substantial capabilities.
The thing about our national security is that it's all about technology.
You and I don't need to worry about Chinese agents kicking down our front door.
However, we do need to worry about them carrying out cyber attacks targeting our personal information and intellectual property.
Politics. Covert influence campaigns have been carried out by China all around the world resulting in governments passing laws designed to prevent China’s involvement in politics.
The U.S. has begun to investigate certain organizations and individuals for compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
As we witnessed with the Presidential election, foreign governments closely watch the political climate in the U.S.
Some of the ways foreign governments try to influence elections are by cyber-attacks, altering voter information and creating advertising that shares misinformation.
There is no question that China is going to continue to increase espionage activities against U.S. interests.
While they may not target you or I directly, there is no doubt that Chinese espionage can and will affect some part of your life.

NOTES:  China now has the largest merchant marine fleet in the world, surpassing the United States and Great Britain.  China has made major military advancements and developed new weapons and improved its ability to wage war over places such as Taiwan [Source: US Defense Intelligence Bulletin]…The Chinese People’s Liberation Army is boosting the size of its navy and air force [it now has stealth fighter aircraft] to assert greater control over the South China Sea while the US Navy appears to be retreating from the area…its expansion will soon enable China to block the US and Britain out of not just the Asian sea gates the once controlled, but even those the lie thousands of miles of miles from China.

China expanding its influence

China will continue to increase its naval presence and operations around the world to help protect global interests and supply routes back to China. This strategy also moves beyond South China Sea territory as China continues to offer loans and lease agreements to countries for access to ports and harbours around the world.

Closer bilateral and multi-lateral naval relationships between China and rival claimants to the South China Sea disputes are expected. This will take place against the backdrop of growing dependence on Chinese naval weapon manufacturers, and prevailing uncertainty over the US security commitment abroad.

China is also attempting to overtake advanced countries across a number of sectors. For example, China is overtaking Russia in most aspects of aerospace development with J-31 combat aircraft, space exploration, cheap unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and carrier operations.

Free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom!

We self-reliant types spend a significant portion of our lives prepping for a long-term disaster in one way or another. We grow our own groceries, cultivate backyard apothecaries, hone our shooting skills, preserve the garden harvest, hunt, fish, and harden our bug in or bug out locations. But how many of us have really thought about what daily life will be like during a long-term disaster?

Sure, we all know grocery store shelves will be empty with hours (not days, like FEMA claims), calling 911 for help will not be an option, and the unprepared will panic, leading to the development of marauding hordes.

All of that will happen within hours to a few days after the end of the world as we know it - TEOTWAKI. Have you thought long and hard about what life will be like in the weeks, months, and possibly years that unfold after the incident that sparks the long-term disaster...?

There’s an old proverb that says not to put all your eggs in one basket. When it comes to storing survival supplies, this proverb rings true. By keeping all of your supplies inside your home (or at any one location) you are setting yourself up for disaster.

This is where survival caches come in. Coming from the French word for “hide”, a cache is a setup that allows you to hide some supplies in a separate location. There’s a lot of strategy that goes into choosing where to put a survival cache and what to put in it.

On the one hand, you want your survival cache to be difficult to find so it's not discovered and stolen. On the other hand, your survival cache needs to be easily accessible, especially if you plan on accessing it during a bug out scenario...

Here’s my idea for a new bill [s] to improve government…

>Since term limits never seems to gain any traction perhaps we should entertain the idea of zero pay for elected officials after their third term in office…give them their office, expenses, health insurance while in office and a living allowance only=much like our Founding Fathers and see how many decide to remain in office.

>Perhaps we need to resurrect a new version of ‘war’ bonds, perhaps calling them “government bailout bonds” to help pay off our national debt and/or to help pay for our massive deficits and proposed new spending projects since fewer foreign nations are buying our debt!

>An idea I've suggested before: Eliminate ALL city/state & Federal taxes on the 1st $25K of income for all people. 41% of citizens pay no Federal tax, many city/state taxes are killers for many. Tax laws that encourage more US manufacturing/jobs & elimination of red tape would help too.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the US borrowed billions from China to fund our global fantasies & consumer lifestyle while China stole our technology [other than what Bill Clinton didn't give them] to build their nation and military to rival our country to the point where they might now kick our ass?!
Pretty damned dumb & Trump is the only leader to recognize this and fight back & the idiots in Congress, with rare exception, are fighting him tooth and nail. Those low-IQ Dems seem hell bent on destroying our nation if you ask me.

Damned Dems are too busy undermining America with non-stop investigations rather than focusing on the needs of the nation such as what you point out here or our power grid, the infrastructure, etc. Mindless morons are nothing short of traitors themselves.

One of the late night columnists on Fox held a survey [via twitter I think] asking her respondents for their opinion as to which nation posed the biggest risk to America: Russia, China or Bulgaria. Nearly 86% correctly chose China. Perhaps their is hope for America yet or maybe Fox viewers are just better informed!
