Impeachment-Much Ado About Nothing?

First and foremost, President Donald Trump will not actually be impeached.

The media is attempting to make us worried about this issue, similar to how they covered Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and a slew of other issues that have proven inaccurate for several years now.

The reality is that all of this frenzy is completely misguided and unnecessary.

In order for President Trump to be impeached, 67 Senators need to vote for impeachment. Republicans currently hold 51 seats in the Senate. So the Democrats would need 18 Republicans to vote for impeachment.

Sure, maybe one or two Republicans might play along… but 18? No way on earth. Again, President Donald Trump will not be impeached.

Secondly, if the House of Representatives did push to get an impeachment trial underway in the Senate, it would backfire in a spectacular fashion. A Senate impeachment trial allows both sides to call witnesses and present evidence. Meaning… President Trump and his army of top tier lawyers would be permitted to call witnesses, question them, and present evidence.

Put simply, unlike this current impeachment “inquiry” taking place in the House of Representatives (which isn’t even a legitimate thing in legislative terms), a Senate impeachment trial would be a whole other ballgame.

And it would allow President Trump and his associates to go “scorched earth” in their defense and their efforts to reveal the corruption that took place in the Ukraine.

That would be a nightmare for the Democrats [and for Joe Biden].

And finally, there is something that no one seems to have noticed…

If a Senate impeachment trial took place, it would require ALL Senators to be in D.C.

This would include Senators that are currently out on the campaign trail for the 2020 presidential election – Warren, Sanders, Harris, Booker, Klobuchar, and Bennet. Put another way, all six of those Senators would no longer be able to campaign for weeks if not months.

Again, President Trump will never be impeached. This current impeachment inquiry will go nowhere. And if anything, it’s going to backfire on the Democrats because it requires them using energy, capital, and resources to pursue something that will ultimately prove to be a dead end.

If you don’t believe me, consider what the stock market is saying about this…

Typical of leftist operatives…work the public into a frenzy, then host a circus to hype it…even if the majority of voters are against it.

Radio host Hugh Hewitt says it is vital that Republicans “stick with the facts” and avoid exaggeration during the impeachment inquiry, as it “distracts from the need to drive home the more important point” that Democrats are denying the president due process. “What needs defending is that not only did Trump not commit an impeachable offense, he committed no offense at all,” Hewitt writes in a Washington Post column. Read More Here

P.S.    I hope you make time for is Giving Tuesday on December 3rd (or later if you miss it). Here's how it's described: "Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good."

How you choose to do good is your choice. Whether it's giving to the Salvation Army red kettle, donating time to a non-profit or passing out blankets to the homeless. Whatever you do will be a blessing to those less fortunate.

Ecommerce giants (those doing over $1 billion in yearly revenue) have seen a 62% boost in sales this season vs. a 27% increase for smaller retailers.

The Average Order Value (AOV) set a new record for Black Friday (at $168), up 5.9% YoY.  Trump’s Economy is apparently doing rather well for the average family!

News of Note

The For The People Act of 2019 is a bill introduced and passed in the United States House of Representatives to expand voting rights, limit partisan gerrymandering, strengthen ethics rules, and limit the influence of private donor money in politics…

This anti-free speech act was introduced by none other than Nancy Pelosi.

H.R. 1, better known as the “For the Politicians Act,” would institute sweeping new limitations on speech about campaigns and public affairs. This radical bill would, in fact, greatly harm the ability of the people to freely speak, publish, and organize into groups to advocate for better government.
In particular, H.R. 1 would impose onerous and unworkable standards on the ability of Americans and groups of Americans to discuss the policy issues of the day with elected officials and speak to the public. Other sections of the bill would violate the privacy of advocacy groups and their supporters, stringently regulate political speech on the Internet, and compel speakers to include lengthy government-mandated messages identifying some of their supporters by name in their communications. H.R. 1 would also coerce Americans into funding the campaigns of candidates with which they may disagree in a system that research has proven hasn’t worked elsewhere. If signed into law, all of these provisions would be interpreted and enforced by a newly partisan Federal Election Commission.
The bill’s provisions are so complex and open to so many possible interpretations that the Institute’s views on the bill may well understate the chill this legislation might place on speech. To this end, the Institute for Free Speech has created a variety of resources that highlight the many First Amendment problems in H.R. 1.

“A new Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 69% of all Likely U.S. Voters rate a free-market economic system as better than socialism. Just 12% think socialism is a better economic system, but 18% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Sometimes buying the low-cost alternative isnt the best way to stretch your dollars.

Preparedness

Prepper and survivalist are not synonymous terms. Yes, there is a lot of cross-over between the two types of individuals, but the skill level and focus of each makes them mutually exclusive terms.

Preppers are focused on stockpiling supplies to use when bugging in or at a bugout location - and having the skills to use them. More often than not, the quantity of supplies outweighs the amount of survival skills honed.

Survivalists are more heavily focused on the skills they possess to get them through an SHTF scenario - with usually no more stockpiled preps than can be carried in a rucksack on their back...
Are You A Prepper Or Survivalist?

If you’ve decided to stock up on emergency supplies but don't have a lot of money, you’ll be glad to hear that you can buy several of your necessities on the cheap at any ordinary dollar store.

In my town we have a Dollar General and a Dollar Tree, so last weekend I went walking around both of them to see how many emergency supplies I could find. I jotted down what I saw and ended up with a list of several dozen items that would be useful during a disaster.
Here are the top 40 survival items you can find in dollar stores...

“The trend of girls being less active than boys is concerning,” study co-author Dr Leanne Riley, of the WHO, said in a statement Friday. “More opportunities to meet the needs and interests of girls are needed to attract and sustain their participation in physical activity through adolescence and into adulthood.”
Most countries in the study — 73% — saw this gender gap widen between 2001 and 2016.

SUN CITY, Ariz.—When this Phoenix suburb opened on January 1, 1960, it was billed as the original retirement community. From above, it would look like a UFO landing site, laid out in rings to mimic halos surrounding the sun. Just past the entrance, a billboard flanked by rows of palm trees promised “An Active New Way Of Life.”

Frankly, this is a BS sideshow from Dems & most everyone I know is sick of it this sham; indeed, it's raising support for Trump in our neck of the woods.

In all my years I've never seen such crap by a political party & biased media. I tried to get our cable company to remove CNN from our lineup; they couldn't do it. They're swine wallowing in the socialist muck.

One would think by now even the idiots in the Dem party would wake up to the hypocrisy and lunatic sham they're foisting on America...at the very least, even the head-in-the-sand loyalists to them would see this is foul.
