More ‘Helicopter’
Cash and Hyperinflation?
You and I both know an
economic collapse is right around the corner…
And that the government is giving handouts like never before.
In early March, “Venezuela’s central bank said… it would introduce
a bank note worth 1 million bolivars,” Reuters says.
How long before that happens in America?
Printing the bank note comes after “years of incessant
hyperinflation [that] continue to batter the value of the crisis-stricken South
American country’s currency.
“The new bank note will be worth just 52 U.S. cents at the
current official exchange rate,” Reuters says. Or as one Twitter user puts it,
1 million bolivars can buy one liter of tomatoes at the local market.
As if that’s not stunning enough, “according to the central
bank… interannual inflation was running at 2,665% as of January.” Which is down
considerably from the height of inflation in 2018 — a stomach-dropping
65,000%.
Meanwhile,
central bankers in D.C. changed course in 2020…its policy changed from printing
money and handing it to Wall Street to the old ‘helicopter’ money ways of
showering cash in the form of direct payments to citizens.
Though temporary in nature, it’s unlikely bureaucrats will be challenged
to stop what they’ve started. This week many students got government checks for
$112…Response and Relief
Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA) Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund
emergency grant in the amount of $112.
Direct
payments to citizens undermine free markets and the dollar [something our domestic
socialists and Communist China desire].
As I’ve written before, full socialism in the United States isn’t far
off as Congress borrows additional trillions as Covid relief turns into
universal basic income.
The
U.S. must roll $7.7 TRILLION in debt this year alone…the Biden Admin will be
counting on the Fed to buy/finance this debt. As a result, we see:
We
continue to see dramatic demand for physical silver silver coins, bars,
and rounds --
and a tremendous inflow of new precious metals investors.
Here's a quick update on what
we're seeing from our perch from one of the largest dealers in America...
In the past month, there has been high interest in the silver story – its

2020, the U.S. increased its deficit by more than it had during the past five
recessions combined (’73, ’75, ’82, early ‘90s and the Great Financial Crisis
of 2008).

Under Jerome Powell,
the Fed bought more Treasuries in SIX WEEKS than it did in 10 years under Ben Bernanke and Janet Yellen.

Agricultural
commodities prices are up nearly 40% since August.
