Are there enough real Americans left to hold up the American Flag?

More Americans Waking up to an over reaching government…or are they?

 

 

 

“There aren’t enough real Americans left in this country (civilians) to hold up the American flag,” was the refrain I often heard from my friend Bob, a retired Marine Corp Recon I soldier who fought in Viet Nam and was the honor guard for President Lyndon Johnson.

 

Whenever a group of us got together they would frequently comment on lack of gumption most citizens showed over our declining rights and to a degree, I agree.

 

There are some exceptions, such as the Oath Keeper group along with other individuals and organizations.  Our collective problem however, is we’re too disorganized.  If these many groups could combine resources and create a uniform goal and strategy for taking our country back, we’d all be further ahead.

 

Princeton University this week published a landmark study, covering more than 1,750 policy areas, which concluded the United States is really no longer a representative democracy but an oligarchy retaining a few cosmetic, democratic vestiges.

That's right: The country that gave the world the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, "I have a dream," "one small step for a man," and so much more... no longer exists as it once did.

 

Enough people are fed up.  Is it time to act?

 

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 37 percent of likely U.S. voters say that they are afraid of the Federal government and 54 percent say that it is a threat to individual liberty. That’s compared to 47 percent who don’t fear the government, 17 percent who aren’t sure and 22 percent who feel government protects their liberty.

 

Rasmussen reports that America’s decline in comfort with government has been rapid:

As recently as December 2012, voters were evenly divided on this question: 45% said the federal government was a protector of individual rights, while 46% described it as a threat to those rights.

According to the poll results, men and all Americans over the age of 40 are more likely to fear the Federal government than young voters and women.

 

Support for the 2^nd Amendment may have some bearing on how Americans feel about the Nation’s political leaders, as 42 percent of gun owners expressed fear of the government compared to 30 percent of people who do not own guns.

 

The label of “fringe” is a common one used by statists, bureaucrats and paid shills in order to marginalize those who would stand against government corruption. The primary assertion being sold is that the “majority” joyously supports the establishment; and the majority, of course, is always right.

With corporatist dominance over the mainstream media for decades backing an elitist machine in Washington and a global banking cartel footing the bill with money created from thin air, any such accusation can be made to seem “real” to those who are unaware.

Elections no longer matter, they are bought and paid for by special interests which is why motto has become We don't need another election, We need another revolution!
