Our Federal Agencies as Outlaws
So many federal agencies are destroying people’s lives under the pretext of enforcing federal law, particularly the Clean Water Act. As a result, they are locking away millions of acres of private land – using the excuse of protecting the environment.
So many federal agencies are destroying people’s lives under the pretext of enforcing federal law, particularly the Clean Water Act. As a result, they are locking away millions of acres of private land – using the excuse of protecting the environment.
They pretend that occasional mud puddles are wet lands
that have to be protected.
They arrest property owners for simply improving their
land, claiming they have violated the Clean Water Act. Many property owners
have served prison time for nothing more than putting some fill dirt in a
ditch.
They block property owners from building on their land.
And they issue crushing fines against property owners,
even when there is no proven violation.
They sneak onto private land looking for violations. And
sometimes they even manufacture those violations and then arrest the owners.
And when they declare an area of the property to be a
wetland, true or not, the property owner can no longer use the land, nor sell
it.
Most recently, residents of Riverton, Wyoming were
shocked to discover that the EPA had literally given their town to an Indian
reservation.
How is that possible? An agency of the federal government cannot just decide to give away a whole town and change the border of a state. Only Congress can do that. Our Federal government is out of control.
Property rights in America – your right to own and control your own property -- are being destroyed by outlaw agencies like the EPA.

The U.S. political system is on a theft binge of consuming the assets of Americans by whatever method it can contrive. It is financial war and the political system is winning, backed by the police power of the State. Any thinking person can clearly see that the U.S. system is collapsing. Better said, it is self destructing in many ways. More »

The world is increasingly seeing U.S. cyberpower as a force for evil in the world," says Jason Healey, director of something called the "Cyber Statecraft Initiative" at the Atlantic Council.
Mr. Healey has in mind two things we've chronicled in our virtual pages -- the NSA's PRISM program, which scoops up all manner of Web traffic... and the Stuxnet attack that crippled Iran's nuclear centrifuges.
Cyberwar
is largely the province of the NSA -- which guards its own secrets as ardently
as it pursues access to your own.
The
U.S. intelligence budget is a black box. All we really know is the feds spend
$70-75 billion a year.
How is it split up among the 16 civilian spy agencies? And, the military intelligence spending on top of that? We don't know. Heck, most members of Congress don't know -- all they see is one number lumping everything together. Even the Edward Snowden leaks shed only limited light on the matter.
White House lawyers have given President Obama four
options for reining in the National Security Agency's controversial
surveillance operations, sources close to the discussions told The Wall
Street Journal. The options range from abolishing the domestic-spying
program altogether to running it through telephone companies, who would keep
the data and only turn it over to the NSA if a specific investigation was
underway. Obama advisers have not come to an agreement on which of the four
options to recommend, but the options of having Americans' phone data held by
private phone companies or another government agency seem the most technically
feasible, short of abolishing the program.
DHS
has recalled its solicitation for bids by private companies to help the
department create a national license-plate database which would allow unlimited
access to information obtained from commercial and law enforcement license
plate readers (LPRs). DHS wanted to use the database to track fugitive
undocumented immigrants and others sought by law enforcement, but the database,
which could have contained more than one billion records, raised privacy
concerns and questions about the safeguards which would be used to protect
innocent citizens.
The dinosaurs are getting desperate.
The United States as whole resembles the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) did during its existence.
Like the GDR, the US constantly looks bad in the world media. It also looks a bit behind the times...
And its politicians make (or try to make) similar totalitarian decrees as the former German Democratic Republic counterparts. And it loves its spy agencies, especially those who watch its citizens.
